Nancy’s Butter Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 (15 ounce) can butter beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Arrange bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
