Ingredients
- 2 gallons water
- 1 1/4 cups kosher salt
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
- 1 1/2 teaspoons whole allspice berries (optional)
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
Stir water, salt, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, rosemary, peppercorns, allspice berries, and bay leaf together in a large pot; bring to a boil. Set aside to cool completely before brining turkey.
