Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1 cup shredded coconut
Directions
Mix, flour, salt and soda together. Cream shortening until fluffy; add both kinds of sugar gradually, beat until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
