Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup carrot, sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 15-ounce cans diced tomatoes
- 1 15-ounce can kidney beans, with liquid
- 1 15-ounce can great northern beans, with liquid
- 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 12-ounce can V8 juice
- 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound pasta
Directions
Brown the ground beef, drain off fat. Add all raw vegetables, saute 10 minutes. Add everything else, except pasta. Simmer at least 15 minutes.
