Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped broccoli florets
- 2 cups chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 tablespoons vegetable broth, or more if needed
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Add broccoli, cover, and steam until tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
